Zid Media wasn't born from a business plan. It was born from necessity, passion, and a decade of loving photography.
I'm Jaswinder. I picked up my first camera in 2014 not to make money, but because I fell in love with capturing the world through a lens. Over the years I upgraded, learned, and shot everything I could. But photography stayed a hobby while life kept moving and the dream of building something of my own stayed quietly in the background.
In early 2025, that changed. A turning point arrived that made the decision for me: stop waiting, start building.
I attended the Spruce Media Summit in Hamilton and saw what was possible when real estate photography is done right. I came home and started Zid Media.

Behind the scenes, my wife Raman is the backbone of everything you don't see. She left her career at RBC to be a full-time mom to our son and somehow also handles the website, the editing, the branding, and the business planning that keeps Zid Media moving forward.
